I have been a book worm all my life. As a small child I read any and everything I could get my hands on. I developed a love of literature very early in life and it is my goal to share my love of literature with our little ones at an early age. 

My children's books are based on poems and have a rhythmic flow. I noticed when reading to my own toddler that his attention span varied depending on his level of interest in the book. My son's interest in the book was based on the catchy words, illustrations, and his ability to "see himself" in the story.

Diversity and representation is important in literature, especially children's books. My hope is to provide a platform for discussion along with supportive material that evokes positive images of all  children, specifically little black boys and girls around the world.
